Submission
read moreWe believe you should get all the credit you deserve, both in writing and financially. This is done through meta aka CD Authoring. To accomplish this, we provide you with an easy-to-use mastering submission form. It includes general project information, all the creative credits and data necessary to collect money from internet music sales and broadcasts. If you do not have all the information requested in this form, strongly consider the critical ISRC numbers. ISRC numbers are used to track and deliver owed royalties when a song is used by internet and satellite radio stations.
Mastering Q & A
read moreIdeally, you deliver your master files in the highest definition possible. That means the same sample rate and bit depth that the song/album was recorded in. Your music will sound best if it is mastered in high definition and taken down to CD quality in the very last stage of the process. Incidentally, MP3s sound best with this approach. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ISRC CODES OF THE SONGS? The artist(s). You can find information and submission details online at www.riaa.com. ISRC Codes should be submitted to the mastering engineer by e-mail, mastering@tonicroomstudios.com, or faxed to (208) 338-8435.
