Sterling Bankers continued to provide world class banking with big Texas hearts in 2008. Volunteering increased for the 4th consecutive year as our bankers contributed over 10, 000 hours of volunteer service to non-profits in Texas. And our corporate financial contributions were awarded to more than 200 deserving non-profit organizations. Sterling Bankers led and served non-profit agencies providing needed services to Texans throughout our markets. Our volunteers served on boards, chaired fundraising events, mentored kids, provided leadership for Scout troops, and so much more.
