It all began in 1989, With the purchase of a little Long Island Marina at the end of Bergen Avenue in West Babylon, New York. Owner John P. Scoglio has over three decades experience as both a boat builder, and successful Marina owner/operator. John began Islander Boat Center while he was successfully managing his Marina: The Bergen Point Yacht Basin, situated on the Great South Bay in West Babylon. John has incorporated the Marina into Islander Boat Center as their South Shore location for Parts & Service and Delivery Center.
