About Us
read moreDr. Uyen Nguyen grew up in sunny San Diego and received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at UC San Diego. She proceeded to receive her Doctorate in Optometry at UC Berkeley. After graduation, Dr. Nguyen worked at an optometry practice near Santa Cruz for a few years before assuming ownership of Hayward Optometry in 2012. Since then, she has expanded Hayward Optometry to include additional services and modern upgrades to provide better patient care. Dr. Nguyen loves outdoor activities, wineries and breweries, and playing with her three young kids!
