Best experience ever. Staff were great and assisted us in finding a pup for us. We liked how they vetted us by bring Sosa to our house to make sure all was OK. When the time comes we will work with them again.

My wife and I were introduced to Marium and her staff at Godbey Creek Canine Rescue through another rescue (Piedmont Animal Rescue), and we were both so excited to see such a well kept and beautiful ranch that dedicated so much time and effort to helping people find the right dog. We have a little pocket beagle (Olive) that's about 9 years old, who surprisingly is still spry, needed a companion to help keep her company through her senior years. The two got along perfectly thanks to GCCR. Definitely the place to go for professional help and care for all dogs

I wish there was a ten star review choice! I can not possibly say enough wonderful things about Godbey Creek Rescue, Mariam and the entire staff/volunteers. We rescued a dog in our park and sheltered him until we learned of this rescue. Otis was accepted into their program and has recently been placed with his new family. The Godbey family works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and find safe environments for every dog. They are all heroes in my book!

Miriam was extremely helpful and knowledgeable concerning the rescue process and the breed of the dog. She is paasoniate about the dogs she rescue and about finding the correct forever home for these abused dogs.

The staff at Godbey Creek are heaven sent. Miriam, Lucia, Tammy and the rest of the staff were really lovely and made this painful process easy. I will forever be grateful

Wonderful caring people. Will be boarding our dog with them from now on. They let our kids call and talk to her while we were on vacation. And even sent us pictures. When our family is ready for another furry friend will be looking here first.

By far, the nicest rescue we've seen and been to. The facilities are clean, the dogs have an incredible amount of space to run, and the staff is extremely kind and friendly. They also offer boarding services to help offset the costs of a rescue. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Godbey Creek Rescue is a top notch organization. The facility is extremely clean & spacious. Mariam, the director, is very organized and ensures things run smoothly. Throughout it all her warm & caring attention to the animals comes first. It is apparent that she works extremely hard to make sure the animals are being tended to 24/7. Her commitment to the animals' needs & her business sense mesh perfectly.

The workers & volunteers are happy & do their part with smiles on their faces. Obviously a natural leader, Mariam is right there with the workers, walking the dogs, greeting them all, etc. Godbey Creek's commitment & dedication to the betterment of these precious souls shines through in every way. I'm so appreciative & grateful that I happened upon Godbey Creek Rescue & highly recommend people to check them out.

Rescued our sweet Heeler, Jessie from Gotbey Creek and had a great experience! What an amazing facility! Driving in, it looked like a dog's version of Heaven! The staff were very nice and all the dogs were very happy and well cared for. I loved the fact that they actually checked our references and did a meet and greet before adopting. Will definitely be adopting from Gotbey Creek Canine Rescue in the future! My only regret is that they are too far away to use for overnight doggie care when we are on vacation.

I had a stray pregnant pup find me several weeks ago. Mariam at Godbey Creek Canine Rescue offered much needed support when delivery time came and she has been amazing, finding wonderful homes for mom and puppies. Thank you so much Mariam for everything!

This place is spectacular! They are extremely loving and compassionate toward all of their animals that they care for. I have never encounter such a rescue that will go above and beyond to properly train their dogs prior to being adopting out. In addition, run an extensive background screening to make sure that the right owner, environment, and work life/career aligns best for the dog(s).

The dogs at the rescue have acres of land to get plenty of exercise, spacious room to stay in on their downtime, and have a consistent eating/training schedule. If you're looking to bring home a new loving member of the family, rest assure that this place will take care of you and your new fur baby! I highly recommend you check them out!

Mariam and her team are excellent! I filled out an adoption application and heard back the very next day. The facility is beautiful and clean, and you can tell that she (and her staff) really care about the animals and want to find the perfect match for every dog. Highly recommend!

Work on appointment bases due to pandemic issues.but nice place for boarding and adopting pets.

Mariam is quick to respond and extremely flexible for scheduling times to meet. She cares so much about the animals. She and her staff take the time to learn about the animal's personality and ensure they find the best home for that particular animal. The facilities are pristine, we were so impressed the first time we came to the rescue. If I were a dog without a home, this is where I would want to be!

They have play pastures and multiple trails for walks. They even ensure that the animal's are appropriately trained so they have the best chance and finding their forever homes. We are so thankful that there are people like Mariam who care so deeply for animals in need.

Great place to find dogs a new home! They did an amazing job with me 2 deaf heelers that I couldn't keep. Miriam was great to deal with! Very professional! Highly recommended!
