Pet Microchipping
read moreCompanion Animal Hospital strongly recommends microchipping as a form of permanent identification for your pet. It is safe, easy, and inexpensive, and the benefits far outweigh the cost. The veterinarian simply injects a microchip for pets, about the size of a grain of rice (12mm), beneath the surface of your pet's skin between the shoulder blades. The process is similar to a routine shot, takes only a few seconds, and your pet will not react any more than he would to a vaccination. No anesthetic is required.
Nutrition & Behavior
read moreNutrition and Behavior both play a very important role in our pets health. Proper nutrition is crucial in the overall health of your pet, and feeding a high quality diet, healthy treats, and lifelong moderate exercise will extend your pets life and well being. We recommend Purina Proplan and Purina Veterinary Diets, Royal Canin Diets, and Hills Pet Diets. All are healthy, balanced diets made with high quality ingredients and are available at Companion Animal Hospital.
