Community Development Law Center (CDLC) was established in 1992 and is the only legal services organization in Indiana specifically established to supply free or low-cost legal services to nonprofit and community organizations serving low income people. CDLC customers battle against homelessness, inadequate housing, unemployment, neighborhood blight due to irresponsible property ownership, crime, and a myriad of other social and economic problems. With budgets strained to suit program expenses, these groups frequently lack funds to hire private counsel.
