Columbine Appliance-Fireplaces

Highly recommended!

We had Columbine out to look at a Whirlpool microwave, still under warranty, with a problem exhaust fan. Austin, the service rep was familiar with the problem, ordered the part and returned when the part was in, to do the installation. He also, on the first visit, informed us of a problem inherent in the model, and took care of that as well.
A few months later, Austin returned to look at our Maytag washer and dryer, that were a few months out of warranty and on the fritz. Not only did he diagnose and fix the problems, he called Maytag to ask them to cover the parts and service, since the machines were so new. They agreed and the entire repair cost nothing out of pocket! Now THAT is above and beyond, excellent service!

Fireplace

Bought a home a year ago and the fireplace abruptly stopped working. We called a few different places, but Columbine was the most straightforward. I was a little irked that the fee just to come out was $179, but after researching pretty much everybody was charging around the same for the general cleaning service. The technician came out, was super nice, and was able to perform the cleaning and a small service of one part. Ended up costing about $250, but the fire works great and is pumping heat. At no point did he try to upsell me or overcharge me for unnecessary stuff. Super nice technician who was able to service our 17+ year old fireplace.

I had spoken with another independent guy about coming to service the fireplace and he mandated that my wife and I take his homeowner gas education course for $250 and that because the fireplace was older that it would cost him $300 to just come out. So after spending 30+ minutes with that guy on the phone listening to him stroke his own ego, the straightforward nature of Columbine was welcoming and such a relief.

Excellent service

Excellent customer service and follow through! I had a bad ignition switch on my countertop gas range. Called around to a few service companies until I found Columbine. Set up an appointment without any issues - my service tech Jim showed up on time and was extremely competent and friendly. Got the job done quickly and professionally. Will not hesitant to bring them back out for all my appliance repairs. Thanks for a job well done Columbine!
