The Childbloom Guitar program is a complete musical education program for kids between the ages of 5 and 12. It was developed in 1980 by Kevin Taylor, of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. The Childbloom Guitar Method is currently being used by educators throughout the nation and is the biggest program of its kind in the US. Students are able to engage with music speedily and successfully. We like to provide the children a learning victory in the 1st lesson, says Taylor. They don't want to wait to play music. Both of my girls take lessons at Childbloom. The older one has been at it for 9 years and younger one for 4 years. They are both soccer players, and music lessons helps them to be more well rounded. We are very pleased with their musical progress!

My kids (ages 14 & 10) have been taking lessons with The Childbloom Guitar Program (Chris Peleshenko) for the past 4 years, and I highly recommend this program for your children too! Learning classical guitar from an instructor who is fantastic at 'tuning in' (ha!) to each child at his/her level is a great way to instill in them an appreciation of music, a sense of accomplishment, self-discipline, and CONFIDENCE - all of which they'll carry with them as they grow. Plus, learning classical guitar teaches proper technique and skills that will enable kids to play ANY style of music they choose!

You can feel confident that your children will be given the best opportunity to learn, grow and cultivate their talent. The Childbloom Guitar Program began in 1980. It was the first national program to introduce young kids to music through the guitar. Our goal has always been to provide kids with the skill and literacy necessary to allow them to go into whatever musical direction they wish.
