He began with a small retail establishment on Warren Road, a handful of employees, and the dream of providing customers worldwide with the highest quality, most authentic Mediterranean sweets possible. In the late 1990s, after years of passion and dedication, Mr. Shatila moved his small bakery into a larger establishment on Schaefer. He also opened a large Manufacturing and Shipping Department, located today at 8505 West Warren Avenue.
