AUM Physical Therapy & Yoga
Physical Therapist in Bakersfield, CA
At AUM Physical Therapy & Yoga Center, we trust that ALL healing comes from within. Pain, sick-health & disease are indications of an obstruction or imbalance in the bodily systems. All interventions - be it in the form of medicines or external measures, only aid in removing the obstacles that prevent the body to remain in its healthy, pain-free state. With a right & intelligent approach, these can be minimized & removed. We take pride in delivering Physical Therapy for the body, mind & spirit to facilitate this process - 2nd to none in Bakersfield/Kern County! We specialize in addressing the entire person, not just treating the field of pain.

He has worked in various clinical settings including orthopedics, geriatrics etc. He has been practicing Yoga since over 20+ years & teaching since 1999. As his understanding deepened, he began incorporating the age-old time-tested principles of Yoga in his therapeutic exercise programs for his patients with increasing & lasting success. Realizing an imminent need for addressing the whole person, & not just treating one part of the body in pain, he ventured into his own private practice at AUM Physical Therapy & Yoga Center in June 2005.

Wellness Tips
read moreIs the single most important activity that we ever do & yet for most of us, we are not aware of this precious, life-sustaining process. We can survive without food/water for a number of days, yet without breathing, we cannot survive even for a few minutes! It is observed that the normal average breathing is between 14-20 respirations per minute, yet, we refer to this is an 'abnormal normal'. This is because we pay no attention to how we breathe! Ideally, our breathing should be relaxed, calm & deep.
