Anchor Fence

Set up in 1891 under the name of Anchor Post Fence Co. Anchor Fence was the 1st firm in the USA to manufacture and install chain link fence fabric using machines imported from Belgium. The 1st chain link fence was installed at Crocker Wheeler in New Jersey. This fence, we believe, stands today with the addition of only a couple coats of paint to increase its durability. Anchor Fence manufactured and installed wrought iron and one of the 1st installations of this product still stands today at Arlington National Cemetery.
