Students will receive 25 hours of driver's education which includes 20 hours of classroom instruction and 3 - 5 hours of behind the wheel driving. The classroom curriculum is a complete driver training program. This program teaches basic driving maneuvers, traffic laws for safety, defensive driving, driver performance test II, driving on the highways and auto maintenance. Students could receive a 10% 15% discount on their car insurance premiums by completing our course. Please contact your insurance agent for specific discounts.

Students will develop the correct attitudes toward traffic safety. They will know how to choose actions that will assure safety to themselves and others on the roadway. We believe an effective training program is to capture the attention of the student and motivate them to practice what they have learned. The young driver will develop strong driving skills with a positive attitude which is paramount to becoming a responsible driver.

read moreAll driver education students must drive two 25 minute sessions each week at home during the Driver Education class. Driving experience at home is most effective if the student practices the same lesson at that he/she did in school. For example, if the lesson with the instructor was making turns in residential areas, then the practice session at home should be making turns in residential areas. In the limited school time available we do not expect students to develop into thoroughly experienced drivers.
